Cogent Labs Inc. (“Cogent Labs”, “we”, “us”) is registered at 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, United States. For data-protection purposes, Cogent Labs is the data controller.

2. What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the site and deliver our services:

• Contact form submissions— name, email address, company name, and any message you send us via forms on this site (e.g. GoHighLevel forms, Calendly bookings).
• Cookie and analytics data— if you consent, we collect anonymised usage data via analytics tools (e.g. page views, session duration). See Section 5.
• Marketing pixels— if you consent, third-party platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) may collect interaction data to measure ad performance. See Section 5.
• Server logs— our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for security and performance.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiries and schedule calls.
• To deliver the services you purchase (AI Audit, AI Build).
• To send you information about our masterclass or services, only if you have opted in.
• To understand which pages perform well and improve the site (analytics, only with consent).
• To measure advertising performance (marketing pixels, only with consent).

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

• Consent— for analytics cookies and marketing pixels. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie preferences panel in the site footer.
• Contractual necessity— to deliver services you have purchased.
• Legitimate interest— to respond to enquiries and maintain site security.

5. Cookies

We use a cookie consent manager (vanilla-cookieconsent) to let you choose which categories of cookies are active on this site:

• Strictly necessary— required for the site to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preferences). These cannot be turned off.
• Analytics— help us understand which pages work and which don't. Aggregated, no personal identifiers, never shared with ad networks. Off by default.
• Marketing— used by ad platforms (Meta, LinkedIn) to measure whether ads lead to real engagement. Off by default.

6. Third-party processors

We share data only with the following processors, solely to deliver our services:

• Vercel— website hosting (server logs, edge network).
• Sanity— content management system (stores site content, not personal data).
• GoHighLevel— form submissions and CRM.
• Calendly— scheduling and booking.
• Meta / LinkedIn— advertising pixels (only if you consent to marketing cookies).

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above. Contact form submissions and CRM records are retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction, then deleted. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable data-protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format).
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. International transfers

Cogent Labs is based in the United States. If you are located in the EU/EEA, your data may be transferred to the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and processor agreements to ensure adequate protection.
